TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
